Let’s Take It to the Nest Level

hanks to donors who made Battle of the Birds a big success. The challenge is now complete.

In total, $111,535 was raised from 715 donors for programs at both universities, giving wing to student success.

UTSA officially won the challenge with 388 donors. UNT raised more dollars at $59,107.

The big winners, however, are the students at both schools who will benefit from the gifts made to programs across the campuses.

For UTSA, $10,000 unlocks for the Roadrunner Pantry just in time to fill the shelves for finals, lifting a potential bird-en for students in need.

Regardless of the outcome on the football field, the real victory in the Battle of the Birds fundraiser belongs to the students. Supporters who contribute to their university not only help their favorite school earn bragging rights, but they also create a lasting, positive impact on the lives of both our Roadrunners and UNT’s scholars.
